Women in Digital: What can we learn from women in sport?

It was great to see so many of you together under one roof discussing experiences in both the digital and sporting worlds. Special thanks to our incredible panel, Kate Dale (Sport England), Sophia Warner (Superhero Series), and Ruth Holdaway (Women in Sport), for their insights.

We talked about everything from setting mandatory requirements for the % of women in leadership roles, to how there’s a need to recharge when you work in a digital world where it’s easy to be ‘on’ 24:7. There’s a lot we can learn from sporting approaches – the need for rest periods to allow our brains to recalibrate, to reflect on achievements and come back to the role fresh and ready for the next challenge.

We’ll be hosting another event later in the year. If you want to be on our early bird list when we announce the date and topic, drop us a note now and we’ll put you on our priority mailing list.
