Health food chain Holland & Barrett was dealing with a high-risk, high-cost legacy digital system that meant it was lagging behind — and Amazon was threatening its online market. Our challenge? Create a digital programme of acceleration throughout the business, to stop the retail giants overwhelming wellness online.

Discovery

We engaged on a focused discovery around the mobile experience, identifying the opportunity to decouple and pilot a new approach using headless PWA technology.

Alpha

The Alpha involved backfilling analysis and documentation that laid foundations for the future technology strategy, while delivering an improved user experience – significantly improving speed of use.

MVP Live Beta

The service was rolled out to customers, and the headless architecture taken forward to the full digital experience.
